Animal fun fact: Chinchillas can’t get wet. Their fur retains too much water and will start to grow mold. So they bathe by rolling around in dust.
Chinchilla fun fact: Chinchillas have around 20 hairs per follicle; unlike humans who have 2-3 hairs per follicle. Because their fur is so dense, they cannot get fleas or other parasites. The bugs will suffocate in their fur.
Chinchilla fun fact: Petting one of those awesome little guys feels like touching a motherfucking cloud.
Chinchilla fun fact: Their newborn babies are like little pieces of fluffy popcorn. You could easily just toss a handful in your mouth.
Chinchilla fun fact: Don’t toss a handful into your mouth.
how to be smooth as hell with your crush
I would do this
Oh shitttt haha
that is actually brilliant!!

Finding a vegan dog bone is proving difficult -_-
Because dogs are carnivores, with identical digestive systems to wolves. There is no such thing as “vegan bone.”
Hint: plants don’t have bones.
god fucking damnit stop feeding your dog fucking garbage or get a fucking rabbit if you must have a ~vegan pet~
lmao vegan dog bone
A stick. The item you’re searching for is a stick.
bolding above comment because I laughed right the fuck out loud
OKAY I’VE SEEN THIS POST TOO MANY TIMES AND NOW I HAVE TO ACTUALLY SAY SOMETHING. DOGS (AND WOLVES) ARE BOTH OMNIVORES!!! EVEN WILD WOLVES ARE KNOWN TO FEED OFF OF BOTH PLANTS AND ANIMALS ALIKE. DOGS ARE NOT CARNIVOROUS! IF I SEE ONE MORE PERSON SAY THAT DOGS (OR WOLVES) ARE CARNIVOROUS I’M GOING TO SCREAM
Takes a deep breath.
Dogs are carnivores by definition. They lack everything necessary to be classified as an omnivore aside fromt he basic fact that they can actually digest certain other things.
but do note; Cats are obligate carnivores and yet can digest other things such as plants, grains, etc.
This does not mean that it makes up enough of their diet to consider them an omnivore.
It doesn’t matter if they eat something occasionally. The bulk and brunt of their diet is carnivorous.
They are even of the order Carnivora.
They are referred to as CARNIVORES by biologists, for a reason. They are carnivores, period. What they do in times of necessity in order to survive has no sway into their classificaton.
Please, I have done the research. I am ‘the animal person’ I have the facts and information on every little thing that makes them a carnivore and NOT an omnivore. I don’t want to spread out a powerpoint presentation, but I do beg of you to do proper, adequate research before putting misinformation out there. Or else I’m going to scream.
also for gods sake, don’t link to a dog food company as your source. They are trying to sell you pet food with carbohydrates and fillers and justfying doing it.
They are there to profit, not be informative.
Takes a deeper breath.
I was not saying that a dogs whole and only diet should be of non meat food items, I was simply saying that dogs can, unharmfully, ingest a partially omnivore diet, mainly as toy or treat (ie. a dog bone).
I would also like to say cats, unlike dogs, cannot properly ingest plants or plant products. Cats intentionally will eat grass and other plants with the full intention of clearing their stomachs if they already feel sick or nauseous.
Again, I was not saying that you should feed your dog a primarily plant based or “vegan” diet, I was just pointing out that giving your dog a “vegan” treat or occasional (and I really do mean rare) meal is in no way harmful, as long as it doesn’t consist as their full and only diet.
You absolutely missed everything that I was saying.
You said dogs are omnivores. They are not.
Dogs are as capable of dgestng plant matter as cats are. (note that dogs ALSO purposely eat grass to induce vomittng)
Dogs gain no nutritional benefit from grains. (which is what the article was claiming they could do, they can not.)
This is not personal opinion, this is not just me being contradictory. This is science and biology.
and the origin of this post is that the OP feeds a vegan diet and advocates it. this was not just a treat, this is that animals entire diet.
You need to research even on the small scale. Shuffle up to the persons blog and take in the entire story before jumping into it.
And you post without ny sort of detail.
You reblog literally saying ‘dogs and wolves are omnivores’ in ALL CAPS and lnking to an article that says they are omnivores, and syaing how you’re going to ‘scream’ if people say they aren’t again.
Well, you get a response appropriate to the things you said. If you don’t put out there what you’re meaning to say, all people can do is take what you DID say as your actual intention.
I am literally a biology major.
That literally changes absolutely nothing I just said.
And it literally confuses me how you are when you actually linked to an article that read ‘dogs gain nutrition from grain’. Which has been proven is absolutel false and grain is a major component in many dogs allergies and digestion problems. And detrimental to their health in the long run.
So it literally changes nothing about this conversation. But good to know.
Yo, I’m literally a biology major too and DOGS ARE CARNIVORES. Tortle knows their shit.
So I follow my aunties on pintrest for like sharing recipes and stuff but today one of them posted this gif:
and they’re all commenting like “the perfect man” and “what all women want ;)” and stuff like that
And I’m over here laughing my ass off because that’s gay porn star, Austin Wolf. This gif is from a gay porno. Like, literally 5 seconds after this moment, he has a cock in his mouth.
